Founded in Brooklyn, Century 21 Department Stores has been offering designer merchandise at a fraction of their retail price to its customers since 1961. Originally partnering with the Workarea implementation team in 2010 to launch a flash sale-based site (their first), family-owned C21 has dramatically expanded their ecommerce footprint.
The simplified Workarea platform supports the retailer’s team through one-of-a-kind tools, site scheduling needs, and simplifying site maintenance. Additionally, Responsive Design Blocks can be utilized to change a homepage anytime. Using our industry-leading scheduling tool, Site Planner, C21 sets up sales and seasonal releases far in advance, and schedule the takedown of them to roll into the next category release. Due to a deep online catalog, C21 required a mass attribute tool to quickly alter products, which was built for the retailer. To further enable seamless internal processes, the Workarea Product team helped with the installation of an approval workflow to house permission-based areas in the easy-to-use admin. Tailor-made solutions never fit so well.
